HealthTrust Transport was not created from a business plan or market trend—
it was born from lived experience.
After sustaining a serious on-the-job injury, our founder spent nearly two years in recovery, undergoing multiple surgeries and extensive physical therapy. During that time, driving was no longer an option. Getting to medical appointments became a daily challenge—one that many patients quietly face while navigating pain, uncertainty, and healing.
Through workers’ compensation, non-emergency medical transportation was provided. In many ways, it was a lifeline. It allowed recovery to remain the priority without relying on family or friends. But while the service itself was essential, the experience often fell short. Communication was inconsistent. Pickups were unclear. Interactions felt rushed and impersonal. At times, it felt less like being cared for—and more like being processed.
That perspective from the patient’s seat changed everything.
Seeing What Was Missing
Living through recovery revealed a critical truth: non-emergency medical transportation is about far more than vehicles and schedules. It’s about trust, dignity, and human connection.
